Who This Service Supports

This service may be appropriate for:

  • Immigration-related DNA matters
  • Legal and court-related DNA collection needs
  • Paternity or relationship testing requiring documented collection
  • Estate, probate, or family-related matters
  • Institutional or attorney-coordinated DNA collection
  • Other cases requiring identity verification and chain-of-custody handling

Important Information for Immigration and Government-Related DNA Cases

For immigration, passport, CRBA, or embassy/consular DNA matters, the testing process must follow the procedures of the requesting government agency and the selected accredited laboratory.

We do not choose the laboratory for the client, and we do not release test kits directly to applicants where agency or laboratory rules prohibit that. Where required, samples, kits, documentation, and results must be handled directly through the authorized laboratory, embassy, consulate, passport agency, passport center, physician, clinic, or other designated collection site in accordance with the applicable procedures.

Chain-of-Custody & Identity Verification

When a case requires documented collection procedures, we verify the participant’s identity, collect the specimen as instructed, complete the required collection documentation, and maintain proper handling from collection through transfer to the authorized receiving party.

Our process is designed to support cases where identity verification, specimen integrity, and documented handling are important.

How the Process Works

  1. The appointment is scheduled based on the requirements of the case or laboratory.
  2. We verify identification for the participant at the time of collection.
  3. The DNA sample is collected, typically by cheek swab, based on the instructions provided for the case.
  4. Required documentation and collection records are completed.
  5. The sample is transferred, shipped, or submitted according to the instructions of the designated laboratory or authorized receiving party.
